Braden, Madison, Emerson, and Harrison — the family behind Woodlawn Lawn Care
Braden & Madison, with Emerson and Harrison — the Woodlawn family.

Started with a truck and a conviction

Woodlawn Lawn Care started in 1993, when Braden’s dad Kevin went to work on Tipton County’s lawns with a truck, a work ethic, and a verse the family still points to: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart” (Colossians 3:23). That’s not marketing language; ask anyone who’s watched us come back to re-treat a stubborn patch of nutsedge on our own dime.

A treatment company, on purpose

We don’t mow, and we don’t landscape. We chose the part of lawn care where knowledge does the heavy lifting: what your soil needs, which weeds are coming, and exactly when to act. Year after year that focus has meant one thing measured a hundred different ways — thicker, cleaner lawns with less work left for the homeowner. Our customers tell us a lawn on a proper program means less time behind the mower and more Saturdays back.

Family-operated means exactly that

Today Woodlawn is run by Braden and his wife Madison, with their two kids — Emerson and Harrison — never far from the trucks. And Kevin hasn’t gone anywhere: the man who started it all still helps behind the scenes, and the standard he set in 1993 is the one every lawn still gets. When we say family-operated, we mean it literally: the people who answer your call, walk your yard, and stand behind every treatment are the same family whose name rides on the sign in your flower bed.

That shapes how we do business in ways a franchise can’t copy. We treat every lawn like the neighbors are watching — because here, they are, and they know where we live. You get a text before every visit, a straight answer to every question, and a bill you can pay online without a phone tree. And when something isn’t right, you tell Braden — not a regional office.

Where we work and why

We’re based in Brighton and treat lawns across Tipton County and the close-in neighbors — Atoka, Munford, Millington, Covington, and the roads between. Staying local isn’t a limitation; it’s the reason our treatment timing is dialed to this county’s soil and seasons instead of a national average.

We’d love to add you to the Woodlawn family.

I couldn’t be happier with the results! This is the fourth lawn care company I’ve tried, and they’re the first one that’s actually gotten rid of all my weeds. My yard has never looked better.

Outstanding customer service and quick, reliable work. You can clearly see the difference between my yard and my neighbors, that’s how good Woodlawn Lawn Care is. Highly recommend. Thank you!
Marion Travis
We have used Woodlawn Lawn Care for over 20 years. They have kept our yard in great shape, basically weed free over the years. They are also good about trying to time their service when rain is expected if watering may be needed afterwards.
Mary Mitchell
We have used Woodlawn for years. Our yard always looks amazing. They are very polite and are there whenever you need them. I would highly recommend them.
