This month on your lawn

August in Tipton County

Final summer weed treatments, scheduling the early-September pre-emergent, lining up the September winterizer feeding. Fall pre-emergent sneaks up on people. Annual bluegrass starts germinating as soil cools, so the application has to go down in early September — not after you spot it.

What we do

Treatments, not mowing — that’s the whole point

We handle the science — what goes on your lawn and exactly when — so the grass gets thicker, the weeds thin out, and the yard stops being a chore.

Weed Control

Weeds around here arrive in waves — winter annuals while your bermuda sleeps, crabgrass when the soil warms, nutsedge in the heat. We stop the next wave before it sprouts and treat the one that's already up, all year long.

Fertilization

The deep green lawns on your street aren't lucky — they're fed on the grass's schedule. We time every feeding to bermuda's growth cycle, from spring green-up through fall winterization, so the nutrients go to your lawn instead of your weeds.

Learn more

Core Aeration

Tipton County soil packs down until water runs off and roots can't breathe. Core aeration pulls thousands of finger-sized plugs, 2 to 3 inches deep, opening the soil back up so your bermuda can finally put down real roots.

Learn more

Grass Seeding

Thin spots don't fill themselves. We overseed with the right grass for each part of your yard — bermuda where the sun hits, fescue where it doesn't — and each one goes down in its own window, because they are not the same window.

Learn more

Mole Control

Moles aren't after your grass — they're after what's living under it. So we work both ends: traps for the mole that's in your yard right now, and a grub treatment for the food supply that made it worth digging in the first place.

Flower Bed Weed Control

Beds are the hardest place to fight weeds — you can't blanket-treat around plants you love. We work carefully and specifically, taking out what's hiding in the mulch and sparing everything you planted on purpose.

Learn more

Flea & Tick Control

Fleas and ticks don't start on your dog — they start in the yard: shaded edges, tall grass, leaf litter. We treat where they wait, so the yard stops restocking the problem.

The annual program

applications a year. Zero guesswork.

Pre-emergent before soil temps hit 55°, feeding when bermuda actually wakes up, fall protection before winter weeds germinate. The whole year is planned — you don’t have to remember a thing.

Our word

What you can hold us to

Family, not franchise

The name on the truck is ours. No call center, no franchise playbook — just the people who answer for the work.

On schedule, every season

Eight timed applications a year, scheduled by soil temperature — not by the calendar on the fridge.

We show up — and you know when

A text before every visit, paperless billing, and online bill pay. No surprise trucks in the driveway.

Nobody will outwork us

Estimates are always free and questions get straight answers — we would rather explain something twice than leave you guessing about your own yard.

Our guarantee

Between-visit call-backs are free

If something breaks through between scheduled applications, call us and we come back out and re-treat it. No trip charge, no argument, no second invoice.

What it costs

Straight talk about price

Nobody likes chasing a number. Here is exactly how ours is built.

$50per application minimum — larger lots price up from there

Priced per application, not per month

You pay for the eight treatments you actually receive. No monthly subscription that bills through the winter, and no bundling you into services you never asked for.

The number comes from your yard

We measure the treatable square footage on the estimate walk. That measurement is the price — not your zip code, not the size of your house, not what your neighbor pays.

No contract, no cancellation fee

The annual program is a schedule, not a lock-in. If you want to stop, tell us and we stop.

The ways to save are simple

Prepay the year and take 5% off. Refer five new customers who sign on and your next year is free, valued up to a half-acre lot. Military, fire, police, and nurses get 5% for good.

I couldn’t be happier with the results! This is the fourth lawn care company I’ve tried, and they’re the first one that’s actually gotten rid of all my weeds. My yard has never looked better.
Jason Alexander
Outstanding customer service and quick, reliable work. You can clearly see the difference between my yard and my neighbors, that’s how good Woodlawn Lawn Care is. Highly recommend. Thank you!
Marion Travis
We have used Woodlawn Lawn Care for over 20 years. They have kept our yard in great shape, basically weed free over the years. They are also good about trying to time their service when rain is expected if watering may be needed afterwards.
Mary Mitchell
We have used Woodlawn for years. Our yard always looks amazing. They are very polite and are there whenever you need them. I would highly recommend them.
Penny Shemwell
